maxim's de parisというパリのレストラン
スタッフが着用していたスラックスでは
ないでしょうか。
東京銀座にも店舗があったようです。
ウール/モヘアが60/40の比率で混紡された
スラックス。
生地だけ見ると、真冬のスラックスの様にも
感じますが、通常のスラックスのような
さらっとした生地感で通年履ける1本。
また、裾をよく見ると斜めに処理されており
前は短く靴に乗らないように、
後ろは靴が隠れるようにと考えられた裾の処理にも
惹かれました。
ビンテージライクなステッチや、太さがありつつ
品のあるシルエット。
黒スラックスという汎用性に長けたパンツの中でも
一癖ある歴史、そしてクオリティの高さ。

These slacks were probably worn by staff at
the Paris restaurant Maxim's de Paris.
They also had a store in Ginza, Tokyo.
They are made of a 60/40 wool/mohair blend.
If you look at the fabric alone, they look like
slacks for midwinter, but they have a smooth
texture like regular slacks and can be worn all
year round.
Also, if you look closely, you'll see that the
hem is cut diagonally, and I was attracted to
the way it is cut so that it is short in the front
and does not ride up on shoes, and at the
back it is designed to hide shoes.
The vintage-like stitching and the thick yet
elegant silhouette.
Black slacks are a versatile pair of pants, but
they have a unique history and high quality.
I recommend them.
