1856年、アメリカのバーモント州で
釣具の販売から始まったブランド。
Eddie BauerやL.L.Beanに比べ、
あまり知られていませんが、それらのアウトドア
ブランドと並ぶクオリティのあるORVISより。
麻の1種でもあるヘンプとレーヨンの混紡で、
風通しの良さと自然な落ち感、
その2つを兼ね備えた逸品。
またボタンに拘りが見えたり、しっかり生地に
重みがあり、チープ感が無いのも個人的に惹かれた
ポイントです。
夏の羽織りとして、ハーフパンツと合わせる
トップスとして、色物として。
幅広いスタイリングに落とし込めるアイテムです。

This brand started out selling fishing tackle in
Vermont, USA in 1856.
It's less well known than Eddie Bauer or
L.L.Bean, but it's from ORVIS, which has the
same quality as those outdoor brands.
It's a blend of hemp, a type of linen, and rayon,
and it combines good breathability with a
natural drape.
I was also personally attracted to the fact that
the buttons are well-made, the fabric is heavy,
and it doesn't feel cheap.
It can be worn as a summer jacket, as a top to
pair with shorts, or as a colorful item.
It's an item that can be incorporated into a
wide range of styles.
