1985年、アメリカのバージニア州で設立された
ブランド"Peace Frogs"
ブランドロゴでもある、ピースをしたカエルは
ネイティブアメリカンの文化で、
平和の象徴とされるカエルに
由来しているようです。
そんな前向きな思想のあるブランドへ、
ちょうど手元にあった、中指を立てたカエルの
PINZ。
"カエル"という共通点以外、真逆な思想を持つ2点。
背面のプリントは、どこか民族調な柄で
表現されているところ、PINZは強気なところ。
そんなところに惹かれました。

"Peace Frogs" is a brand founded in Virginia,
USA in 1985.
The frog with a peace sign, which is also the
brand logo, seems to be derived from the frog,
which is a symbol of peace in
Native American culture.
I happened to have a PINZ with a frog giving
its middle finger on hand, which is a perfect
match for this forward-thinking brand.
Apart from the commonality of the "frog",
these two pieces have completely opposite
ideologies.
The print on the back is somewhat ethnic,
while PINZ is assertive.
I was attracted to that.
*PINZ sold separately.

*There is dirt near the right shoulder and hem.
*There is damage to the right sleeve.
*The color of the actual product may
differ slightly from the image depending
on the shooting conditions.
