アメリカの老舗デパートであり、
3大ストアブランド"JC Penny"ですが
そのプライベートブランドとして始まった
"St.John's Bay"
アメカジの印象があったブランドでしたが、
中でもこちらは異端な1着。
綾織り、そしてインディゴ染め。
一見デニムシャツのように見えますが、
レーヨンを主とした生地をインディゴ染め、
コットンを主としたデニムでは味わえない
落ち感のある抜群のシルエットを兼ね備えた
逸品です。
見た目に反した肌触りの良さ、そして意外性。
個人的に唸ったアイテムです。

"St. John's Bay" is a long-established
American department store and one of the
three major store brands, "JC Penny."
It started as its private brand.
While the brand has an American casual image,
this particular piece is a bit unorthodox.
Twill weave and indigo dyed.
At first glance, it looks like a denim shirt, but it's
made from indigo-dyed rayon-based fabric,
and combines it with a draped silhouette not
found in cotton-based denim.
It's surprisingly comfortable and comfortable
against the skin, despite its appearance.
This is an item that really impressed me.
