イギリスを代表する老舗シューズブランド
”Loake”
デザイン性の高い靴というよりか、老舗らしい
高品質かつ伝統的な作りを用いて製造する
革靴が多く、第一次、第二次世界大戦時には、
イギリス軍向けにブーツなどを製造していたようです。
　
どうも革靴は、無難に黒。
そんな選択をしがちですが、
いざこんなブーツを履いてみると、思っていた以上に
惹かれる気がします。
スラックス、デニム、チノ、軍パン。
そしてナイロンパンツにまで。
コーデを良い塩梅で締め、尚且つ大人びた
印象にしてくれるブーツです。

Founded in 1880 by the three Loake brothers,
"Loake" is a long-established British shoe
brand.
Rather than being known for its sophisticated
designs, Loake's leather shoes are made with
the high quality and traditional techniques
you'd expect from a long-established brand.
During World War I and World War II, they
apparently even produced boots for the
British military.

When it comes to leather shoes, I tend to go
for the safe color black, but when I actually
tried on these boots, I found I was more drawn
to them than I expected.
They go well with slacks, denim, chinos,
military pants, and even nylon pants.
These boots will round out your outfit with just
the right amount of style and create a
sophisticated impression.
