1975年、フランスで誕生したデニムを
中心とするカジュアルウェアブランド。
フランスと聞くと、モード寄りなファッションや
アイテムを思い浮かべますが、創業当時の
フランスは、モードなファッションから
自由を求め、元々労働者の作業着であった
デニムをファッションに取り入れ始めていた
ようです。
そんな中に創業したこちらのブランド、
LIBERTO(自由)。
こちらの1着は其れを汲み取れますし、
フランスらしい型紙の良さが分かる
襟の形や袖のパターン。
そしてインディゴ染めや、糸の太さを変えて
編まれた生地。
見れば見るほどに惹かれる逸品です。

Founded in France in 1975, this casual wear
brand focuses on denim.
When you think of France, you might think of
fashion and items that lean more towards the
modern era, but at the time of the brand's
founding, France was seeking freedom from
modern fashion and was beginning to
incorporate denim, originally workwear, into
fashion.
Liberto (Liberty) was founded in this context.
This piece reflects that spirit, with its collar
shape and sleeve pattern showcasing the fine
craftsmanship of French patterns.
It's also indigo-dyed and woven with fabrics of
varying thread thicknesses.
The more you look at it, the more you'll be
