アメリカNYにて1950年代に創業を始めたブランド
”HENRY GRETHEL”
ラグジュアリーなアイテムだけでなく、
スポーツウェアまでも幅広く手掛けていたようです。
他ブランドでいうと、Perry Ellisのような
立ち位置ではないでしょうか。
実を表現したかったのか、手作業での
無数の玉留めがなされ、手編みのニットの中でも
クオリティの高さを感じた逸品です。
寒色で纏まった色使いはA/Wらしく、
インナーとして仕込んでも、色味の重たくなりがちな
重ね着の季節の差し色として、活躍しそうです。
とはいえ"このデザインに惹かれる"
そこが一番大切が気がします。
心躍った古着。

"HENRY GRETHEL" is a brand founded in
New York in the 1950s.
It seems to have produced a wide range of
items, not just luxury items, but even
sportswear.
Its position is similar to that of other brands
like Perry Ellis.
Perhaps to express the texture, countless
hand-sewn beads are used, making this a
truly exceptional piece, even among
hand-knitted knitwear.
The cool, unified color palette is perfect for
Autumn/Winter, and it would make a great
accent piece for layering, even as an inner
layer, which can often be heavy.
However, I think the most important thing is
that you're drawn to the design.
A vintage piece that made me excited.
