ベイカーパンツの中でも初期頃に位置するのが
50'sのベイカーパンツ。
そしてこれ以降の年代になると、
テーパードが掛かってくる点も踏まえ、
個人的にはこの辺りの年代で提案したいなと。
くたっとした生地に、前の持ち主が施した
直し痕など、この個体が持つ雰囲気に惹かれました。
またサイズが大きかった為、当店でウエストに
ドローコードを入れ、穿きやすくカスタムしています。
それによって生まれる、すこぶるワイドで
存在感のあるシルエットを楽しめる一本へと
昇華、裾は溜めてもロールアップでも◎

Among baker pants, those from the 50s are
considered to be the earliest.
Keeping in mind that later generations tend to
be more tapered, I personally wanted to
suggest a pair from around this era.
I was drawn to the character of this particular
pair, with its loose fabric and the repairs made
by the previous owner.
Because the size was large, we customized it
by adding a drawstring to the waist for a more
comfortable fit.
The result is a pair with an extremely wide,
striking silhouette that can be enjoyed with
the hems rolled up or gathered.
Enjoying this width in our original baker pants
is a luxury.
