ニットベストをジップアップで手掛けるあたり、
面白いなぁと。
またそれを手掛けるのが、ミリタリーアイテムの
印象が強い"AVIREX"がわざわざイタリアで...
という点も、なんだか惹かれました。
メランジ調なニット生地にチェック柄、
ちらりと見える裏面は、生地の凹凸から
また違った雰囲気を纏うニットベストです。
ややカジュアルめだったり、ドレス寄りの
スタイリングで用いることが多いニットベストですが
あえてミリタリーや野暮ったさのあるスタイリングに
落とし込むのも面白そうです。

I thought it was interesting that they made a
zip-up knit vest.
I was also drawn to the fact that it was made in
Italy by AVIREX, a brand known for its military
items.
The melange-style knit fabric features a check
pattern, and the lining, which peeks out, has a
textured feel that gives this knit vest a
completely different feel.
While knit vests are often used in slightly more
casual or dressy styles, it would be interesting
to incorporate this into a more military or
unpretentious look.
