40年代頃からフランス軍で採用された、
バイク部隊用のM35モーターサイクルコート。
ミリタリーらしいタフなコットンキャンバス地に、
チンストや足に巻きつけるベルトなどが付き、
モーターサイクルコートならではのディテールが
窺える逸品です。
そしてこんな無骨な印象とは打って変わって、
Aラインの抜群のシルエットは、ミリタリーの中でも
上位に来るシルエットの良さ。
オーバーコートらしく、上からがばっとどうぞ。
ずっと好きなやつ。

This M35 motorcycle coat was adopted by the
French military from around the 1940s for its
motorbike units.
Made from tough, military-style cotton canvas,
it comes with a chin strap and belts that wrap
around the legs, and is a masterpiece that
showcases the details you'd expect from a
motorcycle coat.
And in stark contrast to this rugged impression,
its outstanding A-line silhouette is one of the
best in military wear.
It's an overcoat, so you can wear it over your
head.
It's one of my all-time favorites.
