1980年にアメリカのミズーリ州ジョプリンで
元は"Book Barn"という古本屋としてスタートした
リサイクルショップ”vintage stock”
日本でいうBOOK OFFのような、
ひとつのジャンルに縛られず、様々なものを
扱っているようです。
そんなショップのプロモーションTシャツを
贅沢に後染め。
ジャストサイズのリンガーteeが多い中、
ゆったりとしたサイズ感で着れるのは
嬉しいですし、袖も絞りも緩めなのが◎
後染め特有の雰囲気で、本来の良さを活かしつつ
昇華した一着です。

"Vintage Stock" is a resale shop that began in
1980 in Joplin, Missouri, originally opening as
a used bookstore called "Book Barn."
Much like Japan's "BOOK OFF," it deals in a
wide variety of items rather than being limited
to a single genre.
This piece is a promotional T-shirt from that
shop, elevated through a premium
over-dyeing process.
While many ringer tees tend to have a snug fit,
this one offers a pleasantly relaxed silhouette,
and the loose fit of the sleeves is a great touch.
The over-dyeing creates a unique atmosphere,
transforming the shirt into something special
while still preserving its original appeal.
