1881年、元々は炭鉱労働者向けに、
シャツを手縫いで提供していた、
ひと家族が始めたブランド”VAN HEUSEN”
”襟”に拘りシャツの着心地を変えた
ブランドとしても有名ですが、この個体に関しては
”色”に惹かれた一着でした。
白ではなくアイスグレー色という、
絶妙な雰囲気を纏う個体で、尚且つはっきりとした
白よりもコーデに馴染みやすい色合いというところが
魅力のひとつ。
さらに色だけでなく、大き過ぎず小さ過ぎない
程良いゆとりを持ったサイズで、ドレスシャツの
雰囲気を崩す事なく、ストレスフリーで
身に纏う事が出来るのも◎
個人的には一枚でさらっと着るのが好きですが、
テーラードジャケットのインナーとしてだったり、
ニットベストやカーディガンのインナーとしても
活躍するのではないでしょうか。

"Van Heusen" began in 1881 as a family-run
business hand-sewing shirts for coal miners.
While the brand is renowned for revolutionizing
shirt comfort through its innovative approach to
collar design, what drew me to this particular
piece was its color.
It features an exquisite "ice gray" hue rather
than standard white—
a shade that blends more naturally into an
outfit than stark white, which is a key part of its
appeal.
Beyond the color, the fit strikes a perfect
balance—neither too big nor too small—
offering a comfortable, relaxed feel without
compromising the refined aesthetic of a dress
shirt.
Personally, I like wearing it simply on its own,
but it would also work beautifully layered
under a tailored jacket, or beneath a knit vest
or cardigan.
