1981年ドイツのフランクフルトで誕生した、
アウトドアブランド”Jack Wolfskin”
どうやらヨーロッパでは、The North Faceや
Patagoniaと並ぶ本格派のアウトドアブランドとして
有名なようです。
通常縦長の胸ポケットですが、
こちらの胸ポケットは横長で、
さらにオオカミの足跡がひとつ。
キャンバス地などと比べでも、しっとりと柔らかく
起毛したコットンツイル地の肌馴染み良さ。
そんなディテールと質感、その両方に惹かれました。
またこちらは、ロールアップタブが付く2way仕様。
機能性として落とし込まれたディテールを、
季節や気分に合わせてファッションとして
落とし込んでみてはどうでしょう。

"A Wide Pocket Featuring a Paw Print"
"Jack Wolfskin" is an outdoor brand that
originated in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1981.
It appears to be renowned in Europe as a
serious outdoor brand on par with the likes of
The North Face and Patagonia.
While chest pockets are typically vertical,
this one is horizontal and features a single
wolf paw print.
The brushed cotton twill fabric feels soft and
supple against the skin—far more comfortable
than standard canvas.
I was drawn to both these details and the
fabric's texture.
It also features a "2-way" design with tabs for
rolling up the sleeves.
Why not take a detail originally intended for
functionality and incorporate it into your style

suit the season or your mood?
