デニムで有名なLEVI`Sが、ドレスウェアの
需要に応じて展開したドレスライン
”ACTION SUIT”
古着ではACTION SLACKSの方が、
馴染みがある気がしますが、セットアップとしても
展開されていたようです。
紺ブレ×金ボタンではなく、紺ブレ×銅ボタンという
細かなディテールで差別化出来るのはもちろん、
寒暖差で手に抱えた時もシワになりにくい生地なのは
ドレスウェアとしての側面を見た際も
魅力のひとつではないでしょうか。
アイテムの外側からブランドの主張は無く
シンプルに纏められているところが、
個人的には惹かれた点。

"ACTION SUIT" is a dress-style line launched by
the denim giant Levi's to meet the demand for
formal wear.
While the "ACTION SLACKS" model might be
more familiar in the vintage market, it appears
the line also included matching suit sets.
It stands out through subtle details—such as
pairing a navy blazer with copper buttons
rather than the standard gold ones—and the
fabric is resistant to wrinkling when carried
over the arm during temperature fluctuations, a
feature that adds to its appeal as formal wear.
What personally drew me to this piece is its
understated, simple design that avoids
overt branding.
The brand identity remains subtle—known only
to the person wearing it.
There is a certain luxury in that.
