スポーツブランド”OAKLEY”
アイウェアを中心に人気を集めるブランドで、
珍しく当店のフィルターにも引っ掛かったので
連れて帰ってきました。
個人的にもっとギミックの効いたアイテムや、
スポーツウェアらしいアイテムを手掛けている
印象でしたが、こちらは白のコーデュロイと、
街にも溶け込みやすいカジュアルさを感じました。
胸ポケットは上からではなく、
サイドに口が付いていたり、
ボタンはスナップボタンだったり、
”程良い一癖”として楽しめるディテールは残しつつ、
シャツとしてもジャケットとしても活躍する逸品。
”白のコーデュロイ”にしろ”白のアウター”にしろ、
探すと意外にもないですし、色味が重たくなりがちな
重ね着の季節、コーデを明るくしてくれる1着としても
おすすめです。

Founded in California, USA, in 1975, the sports
brand "OAKLEY" is best known for its eyewear.
This particular piece caught my eye—a rare find
that met our shop’s specific criteria—so I
decided to bring it in.
While I typically associate OAKLEY with highly
technical, gimmick-heavy gear or performance
sportswear, this item—crafted from white
corduroy—offers a casual, versatile aesthetic
that fits seamlessly into an everyday urban
wardrobe.
It features thoughtful, unique touches: the
chest pocket is accessible from the side rather
than the top, and it uses snap buttons instead of
standard ones.
These subtle, quirky details add character
without being over-the-top, making it a
versatile piece that functions equally well as a
shirt or a jacket.
White corduroy—and white outerwear in
general—is surprisingly hard to come by.
